We're all having a gas. Hee hee hee. Not.
If you live in Sydney you'll know about the gas crisis, so I don't have to tell you. It took me four hours to get home from work yesterday. FOUR! It may have been quicker if I'd walked. All that on top of a day where the bank rec went all kaflooing. Oh yeah, I'm in a great place right now. Grrr. |

I'm slowly being driving insane by an object in my house. My brother and his wife came around for dinner the other night and she left a packet of cigarettes here. They live a fair distance away and I think I'll wait until the weekend to return it. In the meantime it's driving me crazy. I quit a little over a month ago and I've been very good. I've stayed away from pubs and bars and smoking in general. Yay me. But every time I walk past this packet it taunts me. There is only one cigarette left in there and it would be so easy to just smoke it and throw out the packet. She doesn't know she left it there. Ugh. Current Mood:  aggravated |

You know what annoys me? When I'm reading the reviews to a particularly toxic Sue and some people have tried to point out, politely, the mistakes etc. Okay, if you're going to pick on someone's grammar and spelling, be certain that you spell grammar right at least. The amount of times I have seen, "Your story is okay, but please check your spelling and grammer before posting" is increasing and it's driving me crazy. It's called taking the time to care enough about your own writing before picking on others. And yes, I did check this over before posting it so I don't look like a doofus (: Current Mood: annoyed |

I've decided that any future reports I do for ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) deleterius will be stories that have really bad smut in them. That relegates me firmly to the R section of the Pit of Voles. Label me a hornbag, but I do so enjoy the ickle Mary-Sue authors' descriptions of sex when they clearly have never experienced it. |

Walking along the street today I saw a family of redheads. Made me think of the Weasleys. There was a Mrs Weasley, a Ron, a Ginny and a George/Fred. It could have been Percy...but I didn't catch a whiff of traitor about him, so it had to be one of the twins. |

I submitted a polite "You've screwed with canon" constructive criticism review to someone at the Pit of Voles and they took it well, thanking me for the review. But she also pretty much chose to ignore the canon facts she was screwing with. It's like saying – "But in my world [which is the same one we live in] fish can survive above the water...because that's how I see it". I wasn't pointing out my opinion of it darling, I was stating the facts, you can’t just brush over it like that. *sigh* The old "It's my story and I'll do with it what I want" argument is getting so tired. |
